• You can use apps like a regular tablet, but to use the apps on the kids mode you have to pay a few dollars/month or around $40/year and you can access them even without wi-fi.

• You can use the free apps on the google play store, or pay for the subscription to Samsung kids. With that subscription, you get access to a lot of the paid apps on the google play store along with read along books and videos. All of which you would normally have to pay for. I was skeptical at first, but after paying for it and exploring, I think it was worth the price. of the subscription.

• yes...? its just like most cell phones or other devices. It depends on the App. if the App costs money, you have to pay for it. If not, you don't.
