• Screen is fine but will show signs of use if on it all the time, best to buy the plastic screen savers & they come in a pack of 3 & work fine to prevent permanent finger swipes.

• In general, the screen is strong/tough. However it depends on who is using it. If an adult, then an ordinary case will work but if it is for a kid, then a child proof case is advised as it adds some versatility. I recommend purchasing a screen protector irrespective of who is using it.
