I didn't expect that it would but having opened it just now and looking at it at an angle there is a screen protector applied. In my instance it seems to be applied quite well because there are no bubbles. It's a great feature for them to offer that initial protection to individuals if it's applied correctly like mine but I can understand frustration if there is air bubbles. I would verify just to make sure with the company but my strong opinion is that it does indeed have a screen protector.
