Lithium Ion batteries, which are the ones used in modern laptops, tablets, and phones, can be charged as often as you want. In fact, they'll have a longer life if you don't allow them to discharge completely. The older Nickel Cadmium batteries were the ones that lasted longer if you discharged them almost all the way before recharging.

To my knowledge should always discharge a batt before charging again
