While you can shop for 'knock-off' lesser cost cases, the case recommended by Samsung and sold via Bestbuy is very good. It is protective and has multi adjustments to use it in landscape (sideways) or portrait (up and down). Regarding connecting accessories, this is not a laptop or surface. You can connect any device that operates on bluetooth or connects directly to the micro earphone jack. You can also upload virtually any software you chose through the Google store. Subscription fees may be attached.
