Also, ensure ur tablet's volume is turned up all the way up to 100% max, as this is a rare but known issue I've encountered as a previous software developer for a major point of sale hardware & software/platform/app corporation. Download the PayPal Here on the tablet & plug in the card reader, follow prompts on screen & ur good to go! If issues come along down the road, these simple solutions are helpful depending upon issue incured: 1) Clear all apps (tablet could be bogged down) or specifically, the PayPal Here app, & reopen the app again. 2) Power off tablet for 15 secs, turn back on. Open app. 3) Unplug card reader, ensure headphone jack port and card reader are clean, plug card reader fully into headphone jack. * (NEVER insert card reader into tablet if wet! NEVER clean card reader with anything but a clean DRY towel!
