"Wired connection" would imply HARD wired; this would mean you would need a cable as long as the distance you cared to be apart from your desktop, and then you would have to consider how to operate the desktop! But if you mean is it possible to connect to your desktop with a wire/cable, and can you copy or move photos from a desktop computer to the tablet, the answer is yes.
