- Answer ONLY IF THE NEW SIM CARD IS VERIZON, YOU JUST PLACE THE CARD IN THE SLOT AND TURN IT BACK ON. THAT'S BEEN MY EXPERIENCE IN THE PAST.

QuestionDoes this require a new line activation or can I simply upgrade a line with it (re-up a 2 year agreement).

- Answer Yes, You can upgrade an existing line with this tablet the same way you would with your cell phone. You can start another 2yr agreement which will probably save you $ upfront or you can pay full price for it and just swap out your old tablet for this one without starting a new 2yr agreement. Bestbuy can do both for you in the store.

QuestionOn an upcoming visit to the US I want to purchase this item, and will carry it back to the Caribbean after my trip. Unfortunately, Verizon do not provide any coverage in the islands so can I purchase an unlocked item? Thanks
