“What is the battery life? I know on my current e-reader/tablet the minute you turn on the wifi the battery drains fast. How long is the expected battery life?”

• I have gone a couple of days with the unit holding battery life. I will come home from work and use it for an hour or so. Then back on the shelf it goes until the next day. I leave Wi-Fi on all the time without issues. What I have noticed is the Ant-radio service kills the battery faster then anything else and will quickly drain the tablet over night. I removed that app and the tablet is doing much better. Also I have started putting the tablet into Battery saver mode when I put it down for the day and it really helps. 2 or 3 hours of watching youtube only brought the battery life down to 70%.

• 2.5 to 3 hours video is the quicker drain . Surfing the web. Last quite a long time. Charges pretty quick too

• Battery life depends on multiple factors but my experience with my tab S is that battery life is quite good (I only charge every 3 days or so). I am unable to compare to an e-reader as I have never owned one.

• I just bought one and then I found out that it's battery life is only 6 hours. One thing that you can say for it is that is good is it wasn't at the bottom of the list on this comparison survey but it was second from the bottom. Plus it is known to overheat. So it will overheat.
