• No, it will fall off!! People keep saying the cover hold it on! Well duh!! But u cant use the tablet w the cover ON!! If u are using ur tablet, dont dare move or the Spen falls off..

• It falls off. Old tabs, it seated in tab,charged and nib protected. Had to hunt it down already. Nib was more robust in old desgn also. Replaced an obsolete tab and was a huge fan.

• No Kidding?? If U are Using the tablet The S Pen Falls Off !! There is NO PLACE To Secure it!! U all keep saying its stays in place with the cover on! Well u cant use the Tablet With The cover On!! Stop sending such a stupud Response..Samsung needs to give us something to Secure the S Pen while using the tablet

• Yes the S pen stays in place when closed. Not by magnets, there's a space that secures it in the fold of the cover. While using the tablet you can either place the pen on the back to charge or on the top right edge. Both areas have magnets to hold the pen in place.

• The pen is not secure on the back and can fall off. However when the bookcover is open there is a space underneath the tablet where the pen fits and can be secured without risk of it falling out.
