• Doesn’t really matter unless you care about speed, and the tablet supports 5g connections as well as wifi 6

• Hi. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I appreciate your taking the time to raise this inquiry regarding the Samsung - Galaxy Tab S8+. There is no limit to what kind of modem/router you will connect the device to. From what I can see, the device is a WIFI device; having a 5G connection is not a possibility. But, if you connect to another device via a hotspot with a 5G connection, it is possible. ^Charles
