Yes keyboard is detachable and it can be fully folded

If you are looking to remove the keyboard you would have to take the tablet out of the case completely. The keyboard does not detach from the case itself. You also would not be able to change the orientation of the tablet from horizontal to vertical with the usage of the keyboard.
