Believe it or not it has something to do with the magnets inside. They're based off of the sensor and when it goes defective the touchscreen starts to act up and the drivers keep going corrupt. Best bet is to contact Samsung and they'll swap the device out once sent in for repair. Same thing happened to me and I was within 14 days swapped it out the second one's been perfect. You may also notice the magnets for the back of the case don't hold up as well and that's because the sensor is going bad.

I think this computer gets confused sometimes when plugged in and charging battery is displayed then one tries to start up (turn on) the computer. Seems to lock the computer in off mode under just the right button pushes. Must do a hard start to get it to turn on again. Push the on button and volume down button at the same time and hold for at least 20 seconds. Then try normal start procedure. I also have two of these computers and the screens on both are great. They have lots of adjustments available in settings.
