• You can install any software. It does not have an optical drice. If you need one, you will have to get an external drive and attach by USB.

• You can download Office and other programs, but it doesn't have a disk drive. However, you can attach a portable one, which is what I did. I bought one at Best Buy for about $40.

• It's a Windows machine. It will run Windows programs. No, it does not have a HDD it uses a SDD @ 256 Gb.

• No disk drive, but I don't think anything has one of those anymore. You can download and install all software compatible with Windows 10.
