• I can't answer about the power usage because I don't use it for movies. It works with WiFi. If my WiFi isn't working or I'm elsewhere, I can use my phone as a hot spot and get the internet through my phone signal. There isn't a USB port. You have to buy an adaptor to use a USB device, but the adaptor has only one slot for USB.

• Usb type c only. Need an adaptor. Cheap fix though if you want to use old connectors.
