A:Answer There are two different ways you can purchase the watch. One of them is just the watch with just the Bluetooth itself which you need to have your phone at a certain distance in order to get notifications/access online apps. If you purchase the watch with the wifi, you do not need to have your phone at a close distance (ie you can leave your phone at home) and still can access your notifications and use apps that require internet access but you do need to pay a certain amount of money per month in order to have this, you can set this up with any carrier that best buy offers (ie Verizon, etc).
