“It says unlocked. However, in reading manual it says nothing about inserting your own nano sim card. I have a different carrier (speedtalk) that supports smartwatch only plans. I do not want to pair to phone. Is this possible with this watch?”

I had thought the same thing when I bought this watch. As it turns out, the watch has the sim card already installed. All you need to have to activate the watch LTE is the IMEI which you can find either on the box or in the watch settings. Once the watch has been activated, you will be able to see the ICD. I have Sprint as my carrier and it was super easy to activate.
