Yes, I that app is available. There others as well. It seems that the active 2 watch may be a little bit more accurate for some measurements, but I am happy with mine as it is. That said, I do not work out every day. Just five days a week. By the way, this watch can be submerged. You can swim with it. If you do a lot of exercise you know that sooner or later either you will sweat a lot or you will forget you have your watch one and either take a shower or watch your hands. This watch can handle it!
