Does the galaxy watch track Spin class data like a fitbit? The on line info uses running, outdoor cycling, working out as examples and mentions up to 39 activities but I have not been able to confirm Spin is one of those 39. null

I'm guessing no. The preinstalled workouts are based on assumed predetermined approximate movements

Cycling only, no specific spinning entry. 
My experience is that cycling would work for spinning as you would still record the duration of activity and heart rate data. The GPS track would simply show one location using cycling, where as spinning would simply not even use the GPS. 
The only negative I see, is that the battery usage is increased because of the GPS utilization during spinning but it would be a negligible impact.
