What’s the difference between GPS and unlocked? null

They are two completely different things. GPS is the same as the location services used on your mobile phone. You can use it with Mao apps and I use it to track running and walking routes and distances. LOCKED vs UNLOCKED refers to mobile data services thru a mobile network (AT&T, Verizon, T-mobile etc.) An unlocked phone can be used on any 4g/5g network you want to subscribe to. Whereas a locked phone is "locked" to a specific wireless carrier. If you want to use your watch without being tethered to your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, spend the extra $$ to purchase the unlocked version so you can choose any wireless carrier, and be able to switch if you want to later on.

Gps is just location to where you are to use compass and wifi on your watch that connects to phone, and unlocked is to serious you use to allow you to bring your phone to whatever carrier you like.
