Yes, RCS messages are viewable on this watch; they arrive with an alert just like in your phone if you want, you're able to send a pre-written quick reply or you can use an onscreen keyboard to write your own custom reply. The keyboard is a bit tiny but swype-style input helps.

Over Bluetooth, just have to set up. Also recommend a android phone too. Not sure with a iphone.
