Hi, I think u r talking about the wifi/bt version vs the LTE. The LTE version works as a phone w/o having your phone nearby (which is nice cuz i don't like to carry my phone) but it overheats eveytime I use it as a phone even when my phone is nearby. The text still works w/o my phone near but i had to buy another phone line. I don't buy Samsung anymore. My galaxy 4 LTE did the same thing n they had years to fix it n didn't. Id save your money n buy a cheap smart wat ch w/wifi n bt so u can still txt n call off your watch when you're phone s nearby.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there Ahhh, thanks for asking us your questions about the Samsung Galaxy Watch6. Those are good questions! You can make/receive calls and messages on the Galaxy Watch6 on either version of this device. The only difference is whether your device must have its paired smartphone close by in order to be fully functional. LTE versions are fully functional with or without its paired smartphone being within a close proximity to the watch itself. Hope that helps! Feel free to reach back out if you have additional questions for us. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra
