The Galaxy Watch7 can track steps on a treadmill thanks to its internal accelerometer to detect body motion. The accuracy of this feature depends on whether you keep your arms moving naturally or if you hold onto the treadmill rails. The restriction of movement can reduce your step count. To get the most accurate step count, it's recommended to not hold the rails or to manually swing your arms with the watch to simulate natural movement.
