Messaging, phone calls, email, heart rate, steps, receive alerts and can read messages from Facebook, email, messenger for Facebook, counts it steps and so much more. It is an amazing product and it can do much as long as the apps are activated or given permission

Please try again later.The two main apps I use on a regular basis are Flesky Messenger (text messing app) and an IR Remote app. Basically anything that has a IR receiver can be controlled with the watch, even obscure things like fans, and AC units. I use the watch to find my phone almost every day. There is a toggles app that you can use to switch the wifi on and off on your phone, as well as other phone setting such as Vibrate and Hotspot on/off. Endomondo is a good fitness app that is compatible with the Gear 2 and works better than the stock Samsung app at keeping track of your heart rate during a workout.
