Streetview, I do believe it can with recorded gps locations tagged on the picture file. Shock dampening? Absolutely not. If dropped it will most likely damage the camera glass since there are 2 cameras and it's about a 3rd of the surface area
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no image stabilization integrated into the camera. I tried it once on a top of my head mount while walking and found the subsequent playback view in VR goggles to be too jerky and disorienting, inducing vertigo. I just walked at normal pace but small head movements were enough to induce major image shake. Perhaps using a selfie stick or other handheld mount would work if you could stabilize it with your arms as you navigate terrain. I have found it very stable when moved on a rolling tripod or wheeled table and when attached to vehicles. I don't know battery limit but it burns fast when on and linked to your smart phone so I would power down when not in use. I found extra batteries and a 2 bay external charger from other online vendors for my field deployments.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had my gear 360 for about a month now and it's a great buy. I had the 360 fly and returned it because of the price being so high and you miss some of the lower area when recording. The gear will not stand a fall if you drop it. The lenses will scratch or break. The opening has a weather proof seal but submerging underwater is not recommended . Hope this helps. -dayvidg
