“Can I sync the Gear Fit to an HTC One phone? Has anyone actually synced this device to an HTC One successfully? I have heard that you can do it by downloading the "Gear Fit Manager" app but the reviews on that app are very negative. I would like to be sure I can do it before I spend the $$. Thanks!”

• I can't say for certain, but I have a Samsung phone and it won't even sync to that. There are very few devices it will sync to. There is a list on Gear Fit Manager website.

• I am not 100% sure but I am pretty sure you can, but shouldnt. You will most likely not get the full features of the watch. The likely hood that you will encounter problems is very high.

• No. It only works with Samsung S3 and later products.

• YES!! Absolutely. I did it with my One M8. However you will need to search the net for the correct APK which will work with Android 5.xx lollipop or it will not wok.
