Yes! I have the S6 edge and the Samsung gear fit and it works great. You will need to download the Gear fit Management app... it will link everything to the S Health app that is pre-downloaded on your phone.

Connects with any Samsung phone. I have a Note4 and it automatically updates the meet coach by cigna that is installed on the Samsung phone. Once you connect the Bluetooth, it automatically update all activities on the gear fit and cell phone. Really cool.
