It will work with most phones using Android 4.4 and later with at least 1.5GB RAM

You can sync with any smart phone. I don't have a Samsung and it works great

It can be used with other Android phones. I use it with my Motorola Turbo 2 and it worked out-of-the-box just great! Simply download the Samsung Gear app to your android phone and you should be up and running in minutes.
