• I use them while I ride my bike without the fading issue that you are describing. I have experienced that with some of the older bluetooth standards (before 4.1), but not with these.

• These worked great for outdoors i had no problems at all. I had to take them back though battery life was horrid :/

• Assuming you refer to Bluetooth connectivity, I noticed some spotty connection when I move the phone to opposite side of main ear phone. Might be my rf badge though (same hand as phone).
