I have a Galaxy S4 and and I connect to my car audio and Gear S2 at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This I know for a fact because I use a Bluetooth Media Headset to listen to music and my watch stays connected and that I am an electrical engineer. Your s6 is two generations newer than my s4. Both have Bluetooth 4.0 which is an advanced connectivity and high data connection capabilities. When tied to your smart watch you get all notifications, when tied to a multimedia headset or your car for instance that will take the priority of connectivity in regards to phone connection to allow for talking through the Bluetooth to your phone. It also will establish a priority connection for multimedia say streaming Pandora or YouTube, the watch will stay connected it will still receive notifications that you set up on your watch but connections that utilize more of the phones Bluetooth functions will take higher priority. In laymen's term yes you are able to connect both at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a galaxy note 4, and my phone is able to hook to the phone and watch at the same time. I should pair to both if you have them both set up. I hope this helps! I can't imagine the s6 edge not to be able to if the note 4 can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have the S7 and while in my car both are connected at the same time with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I always have my bluetooth available and it will normally connect to both without me having to do anything. If there is an incoming call I can answer on either, car or watch. Very easy!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can have multiple devices connected in the smartwatch sense. For instance, I can connect my bluetooth headset to my phone and my Gear S2. I've also been able to with a bluetooth speaker. A car's bluetooth though...that's one I haven't tried. I would assume so though, considering my experience thus far noted above. I'd like to get a definite answer myself. If you got the watch and you're successful in pairing, please let me know! Ps. This is specific to the smartwatch, I believe. On a general basis, I've never been able to pair with two bluetooth signals at any other time before this purchase. Just an FYI.
