Does the iPhone 5 s work on the Samsung gear s2 null

Not sure about the iPhone, but my g/friend has an LG G5 smartphone and the Samsung Gear 2 works great...like I said, she loves it.

My son who has the Iphone 6 tried to connect it to this watch and he had very, very limited abilities. I would not recommend this watch for an Iphone.
