This is the Bluetooth version which you can connect to your Verizon Wireless Galaxy cell phone but if you would like the watch that can be used on its own - that one is a different model.

The S2 Gear watch needs to SPECIFIED as 3G for it to be activated on a network.
This specific watch cannot be activated on a network as it is not 3G.

I have Verizon service for my phone so the watch hook straight to my phone with no problems. The watch itself does not need service it works through Bluetooth through your phone

No ... the S2 classic, the other model, is the one that can be connected to a wireless services. Is $50 more expensive than this model.

Nope! You must buy the watch from the Verizon store. I just bought the 3g watch last week. Definitely worth it.

ABSOLUTELY! JUST OPEN YOUR BLUETOOTH SETTINGS AND CHOOSE "TOSHIBA" DEVICE AND IT'LL WORK PERFECTLY!! IT SOUNDS INCREDIBLE AS THEY WORKED WITH HARMON KARDON ON THIS DEVICE. I HAVE WORK IN THE A/V FIELD FOR ALMOST 20 YRS AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT SOUNDS ALMOST AS GOOD AS A BOSE DEVICE FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. ANYBODY THAT KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT HARMON KARDON KNOWS IT RIVALS BOSE!
