“can you answer phone calls on this watch? was reading a review, and noticed someone said you cannot talk on the watch? meaning you cannot take phone calls? is this true? I can do that on my gear 2 neo.. thank you. sue”

The watch does not have a speaker, but you can answer calls with it. It will answer the call on your phone or bluetooth headset if you have one connected!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are 2 versions. One for a "cell plan" and "wifi". Owning a gear 2 neo as well i said to give me the non cell plan version. It is smaller and doent have the cell chip or speaker. Not realizing that it didnt have a speaker. Or capacity to answer and speak solely with the watch. Though you can still text and accept/reject calls. There is $100 difference between the 2 hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has a speaker and you can talk on it. If I get out of my phone's blue tooth range, the calls are forwarded to the watch, I answer and have a conversation out loud, I haven't tried it with bluetooth speakers...

Please try again later.No you can't make calls on this watch, i did buy the 3G version which you can make calls and receive and talk through the watch but what i didn't like is that everyone hears your conversation, not just you talking but they also hear the other person that called you talking. It really annoying to everyone in the room that can hear the whole 2 way conversation. I am returning my Gear S2 3G for that reason.
