the biggest difference will be the size as s3 is bigger but also means a bigger battery it lasts me easily 3 to 4 days between charges. the s3 has a speaker so you can receive and talk for calls. it connects to your phone via bluetooth or wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The look of the S3 much better. The larger size is a must. The S2 is great for a girl with a really small wrist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung pay is only in Beta version in S2. Also, only NFC is supported in S2. But NFC and MST both are supported in S3. That means it will work at almost 90% of the card reader terminals.

If you're a fan of mobile payments, the S3 supports both NFC and MST payments whereas the S2 only supports NFC payments. This means the S3 can be used practically anywhere that allows you to swipe a card which is a significantly larger number of merchants than those who support NFC payments. Not sure what you mean by "I would like to connect to my phone and not just bluetooth..." but both watches use similar connectivity options. The Best Buy variants are both Bluetooth/WiFi only. If you purchase the Frontier model through your carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile, that model would have an LTE antennae in it and would be able to operate without a phone altogether (though you may still lose some functionality anyway if you leave your phone at home).
