I can usually be away from the Watch about 30 to 40 feet and then it loses its Bluetooth connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really depends. I can't speak to the LTE version as I don't have it but, the distance for communication to your phone is pretty standard compared to other bluetooth devices. My connection usually gets pretty shaky around 30ish feet and mine will full cut from bluetooth around 40ish feet. It will most likely depend on your environment though (e.g. how many walls it has to go through, etc). The nice thing is though, you can still get notifications on your watch if both your phone/watch are both connected to the same Wifi (I have done it with email/chat, unsure about SMS though).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty good distance over 60 feet my son left his phone in the car was in the house and was still receiving messages
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to be close enough so that the Bluetooth is connected in order to receive your notifications. If you're too far away, then you'll get the notification whenever you come back into the Bluetooth range with your phone. And, yes, you can store and play music from your watch (as long as you're in range for your Bluetooth to be connected). This is an excellent piece of Samsung tech!
