“Bought a Gear S3 from Best Buy less than a year ago and for the last few months the watch screen suddenly magnifies to the point it‘s impossible to read. Has there been any updates that might address this issue? Only way to resolve is to restart.”

To undo the jumbo screen, triple tap the screen and it should go back to normal. Also, it is the magnify feature. Go to Settings>Accessibility>Visibility Enhancements to turn it off.
