Well since you're asking if your teacher can possibly take this watch away from you, I'm guessing you're in middle school. Besides that, yes they will if you're on it too much getting distracted from school work. No if you're smart about it. You can listen to music on Spotify while you are on Wi-Fi on the watch without downloading the songs (from the built in speaker or by using bluetooth earphones).
