Yes, I have mine connected to my Pixel (original). Download the Gear app from the Play store, then any plug-ins recommended (Samsung Pay, etc.). Works great. And if Samsung tells you that Samsung Pay doesn't work on the watch when connected to non-Sammy phones, they are lying. It works great and love the weird looks from cashiers who didn't know that was possible.
