Will this work with a dell optiplex 3020 null

Not sure if you got an answer to your question, but it looks like from the motherboard, it will not accept an NVme drive. You would install an internal SSD like the Samsung 870 EVO 2.5 SSD

on this spreadsheet it says that you have 1 m,2 slot that supports up to 1tb on your mother board. https://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uschn1/shared-content~data-sheets~en/documents~csg-en-xx-all-optiplex-3020-spec-sheet.pdf
