I don't think so, but I answer my cell phone through/on this watch all the time; ie. while cooking or away from my phone, but within range. (My brother and I bought one for our dad for Christmas, and that was the FIRST thing he learned on his watch!) :-)

You can answer phone calls and text messages on this device, but only by linking it to your phone via Bluetooth.
