“can i use this watch with verizon wireless as a stand alone service? meaning i can make and anwser call when not connected to my phone. i noticed some are blue tooth only and some can be connected to the wireless service.”

This watch is not the 3G/4G version and can not make or receive calls from the watch but can initiate a call to make on your phone. There is no speaker in this model to receive a call on the watch. The watch notifies you of an incoming call and you must answer it using your phone.
