I had a Moto 360 2nd Gen (46mm) but wanted to compare. PROS: •Snoopy watch faces are very cool. •Watch is crafted very beautifully. •AMOLED display is very rich and dark. •The UI is snappy. •Rotating bezel is a joy to use. •Pedometer is very accurate. Shows real time increases unlike the Moto which would update ever so often. CONS: •Very limited apps. •Heart rate monitor was very temper mental. Moto's could measure almost whenever it was called upon but the S2's required me to freeze (no movement at all) and even still did not get a reading sometimes. Maybe it was my skin. The work around was to rotate the watch to the underside if my wrist where it worked better. •40mm screen size, however, is very small along with the smaller 20mm band; personal preference but it irked me very much although I tried to adjust to this setup. •The battery life was short. The Moto (400mAh) is bigger so it is to be expected but this smaller one in the S2 (250 mAh) meant a daily nightly charge requirement. Moto could go about 3 days on a charge. Conclusion: S2 is okay but S3 sounds very promising. The current price point for the S2 makes it a very good buy if the size is adequate for you. Mine may head back.

Even thought I don't have a Samsung phone this watch pairs and works seamlessly with my Pixel XL. Love to be able to change watch faces to match my look (dressed, casual etc). Great not having to look at my phone all the time to see messages or emails. Only thing I didn't like was the leather buckle style watch band so I ordered a couple online and now I really love the fit and feel.

I enjoy this watch and it's capabilities. I changed wrist bands to a metal one and it makes it much easier to put on and take off. I love changing the watch face to fit my mood. I like having my vitals available and the encouragement to get moving.

This was a refurbished S2 watch. There was not a mark or scratch on it and it works 100% correctly. Totally sastasfied with the purchase.

The Gear S2 says refurbished but I rate as new. Works perfectly and looks new.

I ordered this refurbished, and shortly after the release of the Gear S3 series, so I got it at a very good price. I've had it a few months now, and wear it every day. My Gear S2 Classic is paired with a Google Pixel. The watch is smaller than most on the market, but I wasn't looking for a wrist-mounted computer. I wanted something that looked like a watch, but had smartwatch features such as SMS and email notifications, as well as basic fitness tracking such as pedometer and heart rate. Pairing was easy and straightforward, though twice in two months I've noticed that it dropped the Bluetooth connection and needed to be re-paired. This is a known issue with the Pixel, however, and may not be related to the Gear S2 at all. I've enjoyed shopping for various watch faces, and recently discovered an online beta software for designing my own, though I haven't had much time to play with it yet. Fitness tracking features work as well or better than my old Microsoft Band 2. The auto-detect feature has been spot-on and the fitness reminders ("Get moving!") have been helpful. Sleep detection is a bit wonky, but I don't always wear it to bed, so it's guessing based on non-biometric variables. All in all, love my Gear S2 Classic and would buy again.

I have received many compliments on this watch. This is just the right size. Notifications work without any issue, heart rate tracker doesn't always work. I don't know how reliable workout numbers are. I hate that samsung keeps me prompting to install all their apps. Still i love the watch.

I really love my Samsung gear 2 classic smart watch ! I can see my email, texts, social media notification , counts my steps and monitors my sleep . it has my calendar so I keep my appointments. And if I am not active it buzzes for me to get up

I have been eyeing this watch for a while but could not bring myself to pay $350 for it. So I took a chance and purchased one that is refurbished for $171. No lie, this watch looks brand new for half the price! I love the watch and even better the great price. Highly recommend the watch and kudos to Best Buy for the refurbished option!

The interface and build are great! Looks a lot nicer than the Apple watch but I don't live that you can't answer phone calls on it and I don't feel like you can get very far away from it before it disconnects. Other than that, I love it!

Purchased for wife and she loves it. Great size for a women or smaller risk. The only negative is you can't speak on the watch as if your speaking on the phone

I had been considering a smart watch both for functionality and health related reasons. I reviewed in short other variants from different manufacturers and wanted a simple "round watch" face. The Gear S2 fit the bill perfectly and when shopping I always venture to Best Buy. On seeing it available as a clearance/pre-owned price, I tried it. Perfect like new condition and works seamlessly with my non Samsung phone. A Great Buy!

Very pleased with this smart watch. Perfect size, comfortable leather strap. Accurate details. The only function missing is answering my calls.

Gear 2 is an awesome alternative to the iwatch!! In my opinion I think Gear 2 looks better too. The one and only disappointment is that you can't talk on phone calls via the watch. You're able to answer calls, but you have to get your phone to start the conversation. A big BOOOOOO!!

Saved over 100 bucks buying refurbished. Everything works great. Never would have purchased this watch at full price.

This may be a refurbished watch, but you would never know. it looks brand new and is so awesome. Does everything I want it to. I love how that it checks my heart beat every couple hours. I get all my messages and know who is calling me. I've changed the band and watch face over and over again....it is never ending. I just love it!

I purchased the refurbished S2 Gear classic and it was in incredible condition. I was a little skeptical since it was refurbished but it has worked well without any problems! The watch has many different functions all which work well with my galaxy phone. I would recommend this product.

I purchased a refurbished Samsung s2 smart watch for my wife, although the watch is excellent and does what it is suppose to I would not purchase anything open box from Best Buy (BB) again. The charger for the watch did not work. I took the charger back to BB for a replacement and was told they cannot give me a replacement charger because they only have new chargers. If I needed to replace the charger I would have to purchase a new one. Unfortunately the cost was high. BB could not do anything for me. So in actuality if you buy an open box item from BB and you have a defective item as part of the order you had better take it back for a refund with in 30 days if you are a core member as I am or 15 days if your not a core member. Go figure!

The watch came quickly, but I wasn't big on a leather band because of history with them, so I ordered a silicone band for the watch elsewhere. The watch came with small bands only, so it wouldn't fit my wrist. The new band came the next day and it was all good. HOWEVER, had I not ordered a different band I would have been upset! If something is refurbished, you (or I) would at least expect it to come with bands to fit you! Their customer service was more than willing to work with me. They sent another whole watch package, and told me to choose the one I wanted and return the other to my nearby store. I got it in a few days and luckily it had the large band on it. I pilfered it and switched bands and returned it to my neighborhood store. Gotta hand it to best buy, they bend over backwards to make you happy. They did me, anyway! Thanks GEEKS!! :)
