Does it play cds null

This system has great sound but cd player already broke after just 10 months of use. It has also made weird noises when playing cds after a couple months. It only plays one cd at a time...a pain. Can't find a good cd player anymore. I hope BestBuy will trade it for another one without extended wait for repairs. Will see!!
