The issue isn't whether it "fits", at least for me. The Q80R sound bar is shorter in length than the Q80R Samsung tv. The issue is the rack that I purchased for the sound bar to mount it to the television wasn't constructed to handle the weight of this particular sound bar thus even after fully tightening the set screws it would gradually start dropping the sound bar away from the bottom of the tv. It may drop 4-6" before it finally cant go any further so it will not fall off but doesn't look right and is a drag pulling the tv away from the wall with a tilt bracket. I just found a nice piece of console furniture that's high enough to give the appearance of the sound bar butting up to the bottom of the tv. I have heard that this particular bracket works well with a lighter sound bar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same TV and Soundbar and when I unpacked it and placed it on top of the TV stand legs- the sound bar is a bit high and covers about 1/2 inch of the bottom of the screen but when sitting down watching the tv it does not interfere with the view. Not as big a deal as when I first unpacked it and looked at it straight down.
