• I did my phone. However I have had to unplug hdmi to tv.

• No. Do not buy this item. The audio and video will be out of sync if you have cable TV. Your hearing aid manufacturer makes a device that hooks into the optical port of the TV and it will stream the sound through the hearing aids.
