I have the exact same TV and the bar works just fine. I don't use the LG remote nor the supplied remote , I have one of the higher end Logitech remotes and haven't had a single issue. BTW, the soundbar works and sounds great. Of course I'd prefer separates but apartment living doesn't allow for the type of installation required :) Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the LG C7 and the N950 works just fine. It also processes Dolby Vision nicely, combined with Dolby Atmos and DTSX. Hope this helps. I can't say anything about using the remote of the TV to control the sound bar, since the sound bar has other functions, such as setting the input and mute and spkr levels.
