Why when I turn on full UHD color on my new Vizio TV to allow HDR from my Xbox through the soundbar does it render the soundbar useless? If I have it off, it works flawlessly, but no HDR. Turn on UHD, it bricks the soundbar. Need help. NOW. null

You need a certified high speed hdmi cable to transmit that data. Most cables don't have the capability, so you get image but no sound.

I think you have to plug the "arc hdmi" from TV to sound bar and sound should work fine
