You do not need to run any cables from the rears to the subwoofer. The sub and rears have only one cable for power each. So where ever you mount your rears you need to have an outlet or power strip available. This unit is tuned by Harmon Kardon as well, not sure why it's not in the name. Also be advised, the rears do not come with any mounting equipment so you would need to find that on your own unless they would just rest on some shelves or something of that nature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No wires are needed. Just a place to plug them in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As the other reviewer stated, no speaker wires are used whatsoever with this soundbar. The subwoofer and surround speakers all connect wirelessly to the main soundbar - all you need to do is to connect each to an electrical outlet and know that the cords are not extremely long. You may need extensions depending on your room. And, yes, this actually does have the harmon/kardon branding on the device itself (lower left corner on top of soundbar), as well as the box it comes in.
