Hi Gigi! The HW-A40R is not compatible with an additional subwoofer. If you would like a soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speaker experience for a great price, check out the Samsung HW-A450 paired with the Samsung SWA-9100S rear speaker kit. ^Tim
