Why not try the Bluetooth connection. Very easy to pair with. Fire Stick, Crome, go to settings, Bluetooth devices, then pair. Good luck

Once connected, all sound from the TV will pass through to the soundbar. The HW-A550 features an additional HDMI input allowing you to connect an external device direct to the soundbar should you need an additional port on the TV. ^Tim
